Dental New Build Case Study - Pembroke
Our client had outgrown their existing listed building dental practice. They bought this prominent site nearby with the idea of demolishing the existing commercial building and designing a new modern style purpose-built dental practice.
After three years of trying, with two different architects, no suitable designs were presented.
After commissioning our initial designs were more in line with the clients’ expectations and after input from themselves, and 18 months of negotiations with the local LA, we achieved planning permissions for a modern designed dental practice that accommodated the difficult gradient site allowing access for all.
The interior was large and open with the use of glue lam beams and curvaceous walls. A lift was not necessary to access both levels as surgeries were positioned on both levels with car parking to the front and rear.
